Hi, my name is Sheena Horob and I am a family, child, newborn and maternity photographer in Bismarck/Mandan and the surrounding areas in North Dakota. I am the owner, photographer and editor for Six Eleven Photography.

 

I am also a wife to an amazing husband now for almost 14 years and a mommy to two incredible kids! I have one of each... best of both worlds... my son Bowen and my daughter Blakely. They are the best things on earth and I am so lucky to have them!

I love the outdoors... being from Colorado originally, nature is a huge part of me. One of my favorite sayings is, "The mountains are calling, and I must go." Its great having a husband that is also in love with the outdoors. And its fun to watch our children grow to love it as well.

I have always loved pictures... I always had a camera on me in high school and college. But until I moved to ND in 2007, I didn't realize the passion I had for it. It started out of boredom and now is my LIFE. It is more than just having a nice camera and pushing a button. Its being creative... patient... investing in education and studio equipment and props.... building relationships and bonds with clients that after the years become close friends. The best feeling is photographing a newborn. Then 2 years later, photographing their new sibling... then another year later photographing their newest sibling. You just cant beat seeing families year after year after year.

Where did I get the name Six Eleven from? it is our wedding date June 11, 2011 (6-11-11)
